First things first...a brief explanation of the site with some definitions thrown in...

You have seen by now that the homepage is a 10x10 grid of blocks. Each of these blocks is a 'high altitude' view of 100 PicoPoster landscapes. Each landscape is a 1000x520 pixel montage of 10x10 pixel images created by people just like you. Each blogger has sent us an image, a hyperlink and a snippet of text. These 3 things together are called a PicoPoster.

The PicoPosters in each landscape are created from individual 10x10 blocks of pixels. As a blogger, you get to place your own PicoPoster for free anywhere in any of the landscapes. For a small charge you can make your PicoPoster bigger than normal and therefore get even more attention.

Charges:

Note: If all you want is a single 10x10 block for you blog, there is NO CHARGE.

We are giving away 10x10 pixel advertising space for FREE to bloggers who want to promote their personal blogs.

Even if you run more than one personal blog, then you can have 1 FREE 10x10 pixel space for each blog!

Only if you want to have a larger advert for your blog would then have to pay for the additional blocks at US$5 per additional block. It is a one time, up front payment. Your PicoPoster will be on our website for at least 5 years.
The required payment is calculated like this: the number of blocks you want x US$5.
For example:

A single 10x10 PicoPoster = FREE!
1 additional 10x10 PicoPoster = US$5.
3 additional 10x10 PicoPosters = US$15.
5 additional 10x10 PicoPosters = US$25.
8 additional 10x10 PicoPosters = US$40.
15 additional 10x10 PicoPosters = US$75.

There is no maximum purchase.
Your image does not need to be a square.

After deciding how many 10x10 blocks of pixels you want you must decide which landscape(s) your want them to appear in. You may place your 10x10 block(s) of pixels in any part of the chosen landscape that is not already occupied.

Terms and Conditions for Bloggers

1. You are not purchasing shares or parts of the web site. The entire content of the PicoPoster site remains the property of PicoPoster. You are paying for the right to submit an image, URL and title text to be published on PicoPoster.
2. The minimum purchase is one 10x10 block of pixels. The maximum is whatever free space is left.
3. PicoPoster locations are secured on a "first-come first-served' basis: When your funds clear and your email has been received no one else can take your location(s).
4. For free PicoPosters only - We will endeavour to place your PicoPoster in your requested location, but we reserve the right to select and alternative location.
5. For paid for PicoPosters only - If your chosen has been occupied before your order is processed, we will offer an alternative location.
6. Funds must be fully received and cleared before your PicoPoster is published.
7. From the time that funds have cleared and images and other information have been received, to the time that images and links are published may be up to 62 hours.
8. Once your PicoPoster(s) have been published, you cannot get a refund.
9. You cannot change the image, link or title text once your PicoPoster(s) have been accepted and published. However, the following exceptions may exist:
   
   1. Your site no longer exists.
   2. Your site has undergone major structural changes that result in broken links.
   3. Your image/link/title text has resulted in a lawsuit.
10. You can ask for your PicoPoster(s) to be removed, but you will not receive a refund in any form. You will also lose rights to your location(s): They will become available for others to purchase from PicoPoster.
11. PicoPoster will be the final arbiter of what is acceptable on this site.
12. No offensive/obscene/adult images, links or titles will be accepted. You will have the opportunity to provide an alternative or accept a refund and lose your rights to your PicoPoster locations.
13. You agree that the site your PicoPoster links to does not contain offensive/obscene/adult material or malware/phishing/pharming content.
14. If your link is accepted and you change the content of the linked site to show offensive/obscene/adult material or malware/phishing/pharming content then your PicoPoster will be removed until you provide a new one. You will not be entitled to a refund of any kind for the downtime.
15. Submitted images must be png/jpg/gif format.
16. Animated gif files are not accepted.
17. You must have the authority to provide the image and link for the web site you submit.
18. We will endeavour to place your PicoPoster in your requested location, but we reserve the right to select and alternative location.
19. There might be occasional downtime for site maintenance. This will be kept to a minimum.
20. Occasionally we will check the links submitted to determine whether they still exist. We reserve the rights too remove PicoPoster links that remain broken for 14 days or more.
21. PicoPoster reserves the right to restructure the PicoPoster.com home page without giving prior notice.
22. The PicoPoster site will be online for at least 5 years.

How to Reserve Your Piece of PicoPoster

There are 5 ways you can grab your share of the PicoPoster landscape before anyone else does:

1. Send us your requirements using our online form. (easiest)
2. Emails us your blog details and let us choose a location for you.
3. Download and email to us annotated map(s).
4. Email us annotated screenshot(s).
5. Email exact co-ordinates & other details (without sending screenshots).

A payment is required for additional 10x10 blocks. If you request addional blocks, we cannot process any requests until payment has been received.

How to Pay for Additional blocks of Pixels

So how do you pay for your additional PicoPoster blocks? - Currently we accept payments though PayPal and wire transfer for larger amounts (above US$1000 dollars).
